Donaghmore District Community Association (DDCA) was formed at
the beginning of 2006, and is a combination of various elements of our
local community who have all come together to strive towards building a
more sustainable future for all sections of the community. DDCA is a non
- profit making organisation, whose aim is to develop the economic,
cultural, sporting and general social aspects of the community, and most
importantly DDCA is a cross - community organisation who represents the
interests of all of those associated within the community.
Recently, the DDCA undertook the task of overseeing a new state of
the art complex now known as the Torrent Complex. This new building
represents a significant investment in the future of Donaghmore parish
and has become a centre for the community, as well as providing
unrivalled facilities for all of the community to benefit from. Just
some of the facilities available at Donaghmore GAA are as follows:
- Indoor multi - games hall (4 court SCNI approved)
- Fitness and conditioning suite
- Home and away changing facilities (4 in total)
- Treatment room
- Kitchen and function facilities
- Modern childcare facilities
- Disability access
- Refurbished youth facilities
- Raised ceiling and stage
- 6,500 sq ft of office/meeting space
