rich vein of form of late to secure a vital win by the smallest of
margins on a 0-08 to 0-07 scoreline which sees them move to second place
in the table. The Senior team meanwhile knew that this was a must win

The Male U16 team got back to winning ways recently when they recorded a
well deserved home victory over Naomh Mhuire in Round 3 of the League.

The Male U16 team suffered defeat in their second League game against
Coalisland Fianna. Despite fielding without quite a few regulars due to
injuries and holiday commitments, this was a game which Donaghmore could
still have won as they missed a few chances and were defeated by a very
small margin, eventually going down by 2 points. The boys have a chance
to get back to winning ways next week when they entertain Naomh Mhuire
on Thursday 8th July at 7:15PM

The Minors finished their season playing against Coalisland Fianna. With
both teams rooted to the bottom of the league table, this match could

up comfortable winners over our lads.

Unfortunately, our seniors were unable to capture their first league
points in this crucial 4-pointer. After a tight match throughout, our
men could not stop Aghyaran dominating the last 10 minutes of the game
where they established a 3 point lead that would prove enough to capture
the 2 points.
Final Score:
Donaghmore St. Patrick's 0-08 |
0-11 Aghyaran St. Davog's
Our reserves continued their fine form when Aghyaran St. Davog's came to
Fr. Devlin Park. They were a stronger side and never seemed likely to
lose the 2 points and ended up comfortable winners.

Round 7 saw a strong Naomh Mhuire side travel to Fr. Devlin Park.
Unfortunately they had too much strength in the important areas of the
pitch and inflicted another defeat to our boys. They will hope to get
back to winning ways in a fortnight when they travel to Coalisland.

The quarter final of the championship seen our lads travel to Pomeroy
hoping that they could have a better championship run than the league
campaign they had. Unfortunately the lads fell to a stronger team and
that concludes their season and the club would like to thank the lads
for their hard efforts this year and also to the management and to all
the parents and everyone involved.
Final Score:

1-05 Donaghmore St. Patrick's
After a disappointing run of form our men were trying to recapture the
form they showed against Dromore and Errigal Ciaran. They fought hard in
a very scrappy game but after conceding a dubious goal when our defender
seemed to have been fouled and a harsh penalty, the Killyclogher defence
held out to condemn Donaghmore to another defeat.
Final Score:
Donaghmore St. Patrick's 0-11 |
2-07 Killyclogher St. Mary's
After a strong performance against Moy last week, our reserves tried to
start a winning run against Killyclogher. After what appeared a
straightforward 1st half, our men seemed to be in complete control and
on course for another victory. However, a strong fight back from the
Killyclogher men seen the lead cut to the minimum before the referee
finally blew for full-time to end the nervy 2nd half and Donaghmore
claimed another 2 league points.
Final Score: Donaghmore St. Patrick's 0-09

Our under 14s made the long journey up to Greencastle for their final

collect the 2 points.
Final Score:

the field and ran away with an emphatic win.

Round 5 saw Donaghmore welcome Dungannon Clarkes to Fr. Devlin Park for
what it always a competitive fixture. After a very tight game, the

the game strongly and condemning our lads to another defeat.

Our under 14s welcomed Newtownstewart St. Eugene's for their return
fixture in the league. Unfortunately the lads couldn't gain revenge for

St. Eugene's side collecting the points comfortably.

Donaghmore St. Patrick's
The Senior team travelled
to Dunmoyle last Friday evening to face Errigal Ciaran in Round 3 of the
All County League. Despite an encouraging performance in Round 2 against
Dromore, it seemed a different Donaghmore team in the first half as
Errigal Ciaran were allowed to run riot clocking up a half – time score
of 1-09 to 0-02, which appeared to leave nothing to salvage for the
visitors. Errigal took the first two scores of the second period but
Donaghmore began to rally and responded with two goals to being them
back into contention, and this was followed up by further points to
reduce the deficit to the minimum as the game entered stoppage time.
There was time for one last attack but unfortunately the chance tailed
off narrowly wide and Errigal held out for a one point victory.
Final Score:

The minors welcomed title
favourites Omagh St. Enda's to Fr. Devlin Park for their preliminary
round fixture. A great
display by the home side certainly gave Omagh a shock but after a tight 1st half, St. Enda's pulled away only
for a late fight back by our lads. Unfortunately it was not to be with a
late goal ensuring it was the Omagh lads that progressed to the next
round.

Round 7 of the league saw the return fixture against Trillick St.

despite their best efforts, Donaghmore could not hold off Trillick and
suffered another defeat.
Final Score:
Donaghmore St. Patrick's 1-04 |
7-10 Trillick St. Macartan's
The Seniors then took to the field in a hope of securing their first win
of the season. After a slow start, Donaghmore took control of midfield
and fought back superbly only for a last minute goal chance to be
cleared off the line. After a great performance, hopes are high for the
next league encounter against Errigal Ciaran.
Final Score:
Donaghmore St. Patrick's 0-11 |
1-10 Dromore St. Dympna's
After their big win against Omagh, our reserves hoped to continue their
winning form when they welcomed Dromore St. Dympna's. After a match that
was very tight, Donaghmore lost out by the slimmest of margins and were
very unlucky not to snatch a draw at the very end of the match.
Final Score: Donaghmore St. Patrick's 1-06
| 0-10 Dromore St. Dympna's
The 6th round of the league saw our lads welcome Loughmacrory St.

The round 2 match against Eglish was replayed following its postponement

Our Minors faced a tough Derrylaughan Kevin Barry's side in Fr. Eamon

effort, they could not avoid their first defeat of the season.
Final Score: Donaghmore St. Patrick's 1-08

Following the reserves victory, the senior league kicked off. The wind

winners.
