St Patrick's Day 2008

There must be something about St Patrick's Day celebrations organised by Donaghmore GFC and the weather, because for the second year running, inclement spring weather curtailed the celebrations on Saturday 15th March. This year, it was the turn of the school children from St Patrick's Primary School Donaghmore to provide the entertainment and music whilst celebrating the Mass of our Patron Saint, and they were joined by past members of An Cor Gaelach from Donaghmore Convent. Following the Mass ceremony, there was entertainment provided by various local musicians, all under the watchful eye of M.C. Malachi Cush.
